Tangled Shore
A patchwork wasteland at the edge of the Reef, in the Asteroid Belt.


The Tangled Shore is an asteroid zone that can be found on the edge of the Reef. It is the primary location for the Forsaken campaign. It houses Spider, a Fallen vendor that also serves as a leader of this lawless region. This is the only patrol zone containing all enemy races: Scorn, Hive, Cabal, and Fallen from the House of Dusk.


Overview

Tangled Shore is accessed by finishing the Last Call mission of the Foresaken campaign. It has one landing zone called Thieves Landing. The area is made out of asteroids that are joined together via hooks and long cables.

Tangled Shore Map

Tangled Shore has three main regions. Four-Horn Gulch is on the East side of the map, Jetsam of Saturn on the West, and Soriks's Cut is up North. Four-Horn Gulch is filled with Fallen and consists of High Plains and Sjursrest, which is where you will find the tomb of Sjur Eido. Sorik's Cut is where Cabals Red Legion has taken residence. Jetsam of Saturn is where you will find Hive

Cryo-Pod Escape

The Tangled Shore-exclusive Public Event, in which the players fend off waves of enemies and defeat the boss from the Cryo-Pod. The Heroic version of this event involves capturing the boss instead. It is done by damaging the boss until vents on the Pod start releasing smoke, destroying those vents reveals cores which can be picked up and thrown at the boss. Once hit with 3 cores the boss will freeze and the players would have to stay near it until the progress bar reaches 100.
